1. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Therefore, we offer flexibility in our cancellations under the following conditions:- Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice: If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours in advance of the agreed date and time for motorbike pick-up, you will be entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid.
- Late cancellation (less than 48 hours): If you cancel your reservation within 48 hours prior to the start of the rental, no refund will apply.
- No-Show: If you do not present yourself at the delivery point at the agreed time without prior notice, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and will result in the loss of 100% of the total rental amount.
How to request a cancellation? Any cancellation request must be made in writing by sending an email to motorenttenerifewestcoast@gmail.com or by replying to your reservation confirmation email, stating the reference number.
2. Vehicle Return Policy
To ensure the smooth operation of our service and respect for other customers’ schedules, the scooter return process is governed by the following rules:Schedules and Delays
- The 125cc scooter must be returned to the exact location, date, and time specified in your rental contract.
- Late return penalty: If you return the motorcycle later than the agreed time without having requested and received prior authorization from The Company, an additional fee of €10 per hour (or fraction of an hour) of delay will be applied.
Fuel
- The motorbike is delivered with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the exact same level (same-to-same policy).
- In case of returning the motorbike with less fuel than delivered, an additional charge between €5 and €10 will apply as a penalty and refueling service fee, which will be deducted directly from the security deposit.
Vehicle and Accessories Condition
- The scooter, as well as helmets (including the second helmet if hired as an extra) and other provided accessories, must be returned in the same aesthetic and mechanical condition in which they were delivered.
- Damages, lost keys, or damage to accessories are not covered by insurance, and their replacement or repair cost will be deducted from the security deposit.
3. Security Deposit and Return
- Please note that upon picking up the scooter, a mandatory security deposit of €100 is required via credit card.
- Deposit refund: Once the Moto Rent Tenerife West Coast staff inspects the vehicle and verifies that it is returned on time, with the correct fuel level, undamaged, and with all accessories, the release or refund of the €100 will be processed.
- Note: Depending on your banking institution, the deposit refund may take between 2 and 7 business days to reflect in your account.
